Mission

Upper Valley Christian School’s mission is to partner with families in providing a Christ-centered education, in the classical tradition, that prepares students to live purposefully and intelligently for the glory of God and for the good of others.

Philosophy

Seeking to establish Christian worldview thinking in our students is a primary goal of Upper Valley Christian School. We also aim to develop students who are marked by their virtue and their intellect. We desire to teach our students to love learning and delight in clear thinking. We wish to equip them to communicate powerfully, winsomely, and graciously with the written and spoken word. By teaching students how to learn, we provide a solid foundation for mastering the specific subjects encountered throughout their formal education. The subject material and curricula at UVCS are carefully chosen to prepare students for a variety of educational experiences, but our primary objective is that students gain the skill of knowing how to learn rather than what to learn. In the end, our teachers strive to instill in students a genuine love and enthusiasm for learning that will remain with them throughout their lives.
