High School

Upper Valley Christian High School is committed to providing a quality Christian education that challenges students for excellence in service to God. We recognize that each one of our students is created in the image of God and called to respond to God using his/her unique gifts and talents.

As a prospective student, or the parent of a student looking at Upper Valley Christian High School, it is important that future educational plans be taken into serious consideration when deciding what courses to take at the high school level. UVCS requires that the student achieve 28 credits to receive a diploma. The following is a breakdown of the required high school courses needed for graduation.

  • Bible – 2 credits
  • English – 4 credits
  • Mathematics – 3 credits
  • Science – 3 credits
  • Social Studies – 4.5 credits    PNW .5  US History  CWP/Civics
  • Health & Fitness – 2 credits
  • Occupation Education – 1 credit
  • Fine Arts -2 credit
  • World Language – 2 credits
  • Electives -4.5 credits
  • Total Required Credits 28
